These chemicals have been known to cause an array of unhealthy side effects ranging anywhere from contact dermatitis, nausea, headaches, vomiting, chest pains, and even cancer.  Our cotton waffle fabric is certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Oeko-Tex certified ensures that the fabric is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use.  OEKO-TEX® is the global standard in testing textiles for toxic substances. 

The laboratory tests of OEKO-TEX ® include around 100 test parameters and take into consideration how much contact the fabric will have on the skin depending on the use of the clothing item. These tests include regulations regarding prohibited azo dyes, formaldehyde, and nickel. Chemicals that are considered harmful to health are also tested if they have not yet been legally regulated.
